Roundtable discussion with developers active in Georgia and the Southeast.  Topics will include financial feasibility in the current rate environment, construction cost changes, entitlement and construction durations, capital markets, and general market conditions for new project development and construction.

Jim Berry is the Co-founder and Chief Development Officer of Highline Storage Partners, LLC (HSP), which operates under the flag USA Storage Centers and has over 50 operating facilities in 9 states.  As CDO his primary responsibilities include identification and execution of development opportunities.  Prior to his development role Jim served as President of HSP where his primary responsibilities included directing the strategic vision, developing growth strategies, while also overseeing implementation and successful execution of the business plan.  Having firsthand experience of the benefits of working in a values-focused business, Jim takes a hands-on approach to directing company culture around a set of Core Values and Principles which influences the entirety of employee and customer experience. Jim has a BS in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he was active in the conceptualization of an interdepartmental Real Estate Development major, currently offered as a graduate degree.
